I initiated research ahead of schedule to gather the necessary data for the sitemap and information architecture.
During this project phase, my focus was on gathering SWOT data from every division within the company regarding their product offerings and services. Subsequently, I utilized Figjam to develop an initial sitemap, facilitating seamless real-time collaboration with the team. Additionally, I established a Notion wiki, guiding key stakeholders through onboarding and encouraging them to contribute by editing their respective pages to rectify any inaccuracies.
The style guide design was running alongside the initial IA research and wireframing.
I crafted a simple style guide to start and planned to expand and refine it further down the line. The goal was to have fairly distinct colors, typography, key branding and guidelines for each of the business divisions. This would be used for color coding product pages and the mega menu navigation needed to support so many products and services — making it easier to navigate and provide context for customers.
I used the style guide to inform the site styles and it also helped when designing new branding.
The newly developed style guide I crafted played a pivotal role in unifying all of Voxtur's products and services, employing a clean and color-coded approach. This initiative enhanced the appeal and segmentation within the valuation division. I ensured consistency in the look and feel across various corporate brands, as well as products and services like Voxtur AOL™ and Anow's Reports Now™.
